Tips and Tricks

1. Get into the groove

Start SAT prep early — possibly several months before you take the SAT. Create a plan for yourself, and keep at it. Make it part of your everyday life and focus on progress.

2. Trust the course

Pick a good course (we hope you pick PrepMunch) and commit to it. Follow the plan and the teacher and trust one course. We have put in hundreds of hours of research in preparing the course, and it comes with a serious guarantee. Your trust and commitment are paramount for your own success.

3. Focus on your weaknesses

Everyone enjoys doing what they are good at. But in order to succeed in life, and in the SAT, you have to learn and master tasks you don't necessarily enjoy. Focus on the tough concepts that don't come naturally to you. Get tough on yourself and enforce the discipline of learning something new every day.

4. Teach others

Teaching others is proven to be a very effective form of learning. Form a study group and teach each other. This form of learning keeps your interest over time, and motivates you to learn faster.

5. Visualize your dream college

Strong motivation often helps people achieve miracles. Visualize your dream school and channel your energy into making your dreams come true!
